Is there anything else you would like to share?

Looking back on my time at Sprott-Shaw College in Kelowna, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of pride and gratitude. The decision to pursue Practical Nursing was not just about choosing a career, it was about embracing my passion for healthcare and making a real difference in people’s lives.

The journey wasn’t always easy. There were long nights of studying, moments of doubt, and challenging clinical rotations where I had to push myself beyond my comfort zone. But through it all, I found strength in my determination and support from my instructors, family, and peers. Each lesson, each patient interaction, and each hurdle prepared me for the reality of nursing.

Finally earning my Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification was one of the most rewarding moments of my life. The feeling of accomplishment was overwhelming because I knew how much effort, dedication, and heart had gone into reaching this milestone. Today, as an LPN, I carry the lessons learned at Sprott-Shaw into every patient interaction. I strive to provide compassionate, knowledgeable care, knowing that every small act can make a big impact.
