Why did you choose Sprott Shaw College?
Sprott Shaw College has a great location in the downtown area and offers a one-year Early Childhood Education program. After reading the exceptional Google reviews, I decided to choose Sprott Shaw College for my career.

How was the admissions process?
The process was smooth because an agent connected me to the international college rep.

What program did you choose and why?
I chose the Early Childhood Education Basic program to follow my passion for working with children.

What was the environment like during your time at Sprott Shaw College?
My professor, Heidi made sure that the environment was healthy and supportive.

Where was your practicum or co-op and how was it?
Yes, my program included practicums, which provided a great opportunity for hands-on experience and practical knowledge. Three of my practicums were outstanding, and the staff, especially Lucy and Heidi ensured the experience was smooth for students

How long did it take you to find a job after graduation?
I got a full-time job right after having my license so I would say within two months.

Where do you work? Can you explain your duties?
I work at Shalom daycare in Victoria BC. My duty is generally planning and implementing programs that foster children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth. I create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that supports learning through play and exploration.

If you could give advice to someone coming to Sprott Shaw, what would you say?
I would say go for it in the blink of an eye.

I really want to thank all the staff, including the admissions, finance, and reception departments, as well as the teachers, for making my journey awesome.
