It is close to my house, and the advisor was very supportive during the application process.

They are very supportive and easy to talk to.
What program did you choose and why?
I chose the Education Assistant program because I feel this career will help me balance my work and family responsibilities.
What was the environment like during your time at Sprott Shaw College?
It feels like a family. The campus has regular activities, the instructors are very professional and supportive, and the admin team is also very easy to talk to.
Where was your practicum or co-op and how was it?
My practicum took place at Heritage Park Middle School in Mission, and I loved it very much.
How long did it take you to find a job after graduation?
I haven’t started looking for a job yet, but I feel very confident that I will have one after graduation.
Where do you work? Can you explain your duties?
I will work in the Mission School District. My duties will include supporting students with diverse needs and promoting the school’s philosophy of inclusion.
