What were you doing before attending Sprott Shaw College?
I was working as a mechanic at a dealership in the auto mall.
Why did you choose Sprott Shaw College?
The campus is situated at five corners in Abbotsford, so the building is easily accessible from anywhere in Abbotsford. I also liked the fast pace of the course. I’d rather get my diploma in 8 months rather than 2 years at UFV.
How was the admissions process?
Easy. Shannon made everything very simple and easy to do.
What program did you choose and why?
I have a friend who is a care aide, and she loves it. We tend to like the same things. So I thought, why not try it out? Plus, I also love visiting my husband’s grandmother at her care home. I just want to ensure that all residents have the best day possible every day.
